Half at the Hamptons Half-Marathon

| What: |  In March of 2011, Officer Rebecca Mansfield Hester, Lifetime Member of the Working Dog Foundation and former K-9 team of the NH Police K-9 Academy, lost both her grandfather, Charles Lord, and her K-9 partner, Viktor a week apart. She misses them both dearly. Her grandfather loved German Shepherds, and it was hard to find him NOT wearing his Portsmouth Police K-9 hat. On February 19th she is running the Half at the Hamptons half-marathon in honor of her grandfather and her dog and is looking for people to sponsor her run by donating to the Working Dog Foundation in their memory. If you are interested you can donate via PayPal, or send a check (please mention that you are sponsoring her run!) ... 5 cents, 5 dollars - any amount makes a difference! |

| Details: | To start the New Year of 2012 off with a "woof" we are asking for all our friends and supporters to donate $12 (more if you like) to celebrate the year 2012! We have many requests for grants, and we would LOVE to see 2012 be the year we are able to help ALL!! Symbolism: Twelve is the number of what is completed, which forms a whole, a perfect and harmonious unit. THANK YOU for supporting our mission, and know that you help us form a "whole and harmonious unit!" |
